This basic green salad with walnuts and roasted sesame dressing, good for 2, is around Php70-Php80 only.

But this is homemade. If you will get it from a restaurant, this big serving might probably costs you around Php160-Php200, which is a total turn off, specially if you know that you can make it at home for so much less with all the fresh and premium ingredients.

We are not a salad fan, but little by little we are starting to include it in our diet, not for the sosi factor of it but for its health benefits.

For salad we usually use ceasar or vinaigrette dressing, but this time we pour our salad with roasted sesame dressing.  We do not have any idea with this Japanese dressing until we eat out in a Japanese restaurant and they served us with salad that is new to our taste buds.  Slide knew what it was made of (he always has this “thing” for food), so the next day we run to Landmark and bought our bottle of Roasted Sesame dressing, we bought a different brand at first, when we finished our first bottle we bought the Kewpie brand and I have to say that this one is really good and taste more Japanese.

If you are tired of your old salad dressing you can give this Kewpie Roasted Sesame dressing a go.
