I remember when I was a kid I always want to watch my dad cook in the kitchen but he shoo me away. Now that I’m adult and have many kids I know why.
Because kids add mess in the kitchen!
Last weekend Elise and Luisa helped me prepare brownies. Luisa was in charge of putting together the correct measurement of the ingredients and Elise was into mixing. It was a lot of mess I swear compare if I do it alone. But it was all worth the trouble… I know my kids will remember the good times we had in the kitchen and everytime they make one for their own kids they will remember their Nanay.
To make it special, we put Crisco shortening instead of margarine and brown eggs instead of white.
Nothing is special with the brown eggs besides the vitamins inside it I guess. Those brown eggs are expensive compare to white eggs. A box of six brown eggs is P54.00 compare to one dozen of white eggs for P68.00. I’m just curious that’s why I bought it and I know the kids will love to see brown eggs.
This picture below is a spoiler. It has, chocolate chips, sprinkles, jelly beans and cherry on top.
This one is simple to make nothing complicated but surely delish!
